Radius 2017 sci-fi movie

Running time: 90 minutes

Language: English

Man survives a road crash, but when he regains consciousness he can’t remember who he is and what exactly happened. He is in some secluded are, he finds ID in his wallet, but the name Liam doesn’t ring a bell, so he decides to return to what seems to be his address. While he approaches a passing car, hoping for a ride, but drives off the road and crashes. The driver is dead and her eyes dies not have colour. While Liam walks down the road the situation repeats - he comes close to a diner, but people inside are dead with almost white eyes. Liam begins to suspect it might be some sort of biological warfare, something in the air. When he reaches his house nothing inside seems familiar, on the radio he hears the news that police found the dead people he have stumbled upon, it is suspected that some sort of terrorist attack might have taken place. He does what he can to block the windows and doors since he sees people dying outside. Soon he discovers that... he might be the cause of their death, but he can’t explain it. Soon young woman arrives to his house and seems to be immune to whatever caused the death of other people, but she lost her memory too...

Canadian sci-fi movie set in rural area with two main characters trying to figure out what happened to them and why it seems that Liam causes people and animals die around him. On first glance it is just a simple mystery sci-fi, but in fact the creators of Radius managed to give it a little twist and with each scene the story gets more complicated. Even though the whole thing seems to be rather low-budget production Radius is surprisingly good film that mixes sci-fi with other genres.
